Abstract

Owing to having been a transition area Edirne has a special importance within Turkish dialectology. The area in question includes not only the native dialect of Edirne but also some immigrant dialects like Greece, Bulgaria, Rumania, former Jugoslavia as well. The article on hand aims to research native dialect of Edirne thoroughly.
