Abstract

The research focuses on the term "house/home" in the novels Mai ve Siyah, Aşk-ı Memnu, Kırık Hayatlar written by Halit Ziya Usakligil by analysing the change in the meaning and interpretation of the term according to the definition from Gaston Bachelard "Each house is the establishment of a cosmos in a chaos and the place for the fantaisies or dreams."
