A Rhymed Poem in the Daniş's Divan: A Musammat Gazel or a Murabba?

Abstract

One of the poems in the Divan by Daniş, a 18th Century Dı van poet, is introduced among the murabbas under a murabba tıtle as well as among the gazels. Daniş is a poet who wrote many kasides and gazels. In this article, we would like to discuss the reason why this poem is included in both the murabbas and the gazelles.
