Suffix +A- and Directions of Verbalization of Nouns

Abstract

Denominal suffixes, due to their wide range, have some semantical distinctions in the sense of verbalizing the concept of nouns. When the functions of suffix +A were examined in a semantical and syntactical way it was seen that verbalization directions are in groups related to object-action, subject-object, subject-quality (status) and subject-activity.
