Advices of Osman Gazi to Orhan Gazi According to the Early Ottoman History

Advice has been one of the most essential traditions through the human history for both upper class executives and ordinary people. Advice is one of the most important duties of the prophets towards their ummah in history. Besides, advices that are given from father to son and sheikh to disciple take an important place. In this paper, the advices that were given by Osman Gazi to his son Orhan Gazi in his last moments in life and that includes some information about Ottoman state governance and sense of legislation will be evaluated. In this research, initially, some general information about the advice tradition will be given. After then, in which Ottoman sources the advices of Osman Gazi were started to be seen first and how these advices took place in these books will be determined and afterwards these books and evaluations related to them will be expressed.
