This article is an introduction of a work written by Nuh b. Mustafa (1070/1660), an Ottoman scholar and philosopher who lived in the XVII. century. It is concerned about the sense of “Hızır and Abdal” (Ricalü’l gayb) which has an significant place in Islamic culture and has been discussed for centuries. The editors approaches and evaluations are included.
